šŸ½ļø TABLETOP TWISTED SISTER šŸ½ļø This is the last of šŸ½ļø TABLETOP TWISTED SISTER šŸ½ļø
This is the last of my Twisted Sister series… for now… in case you eventually want to see the tabletop / helix grip progression… But!

Have you nailed your Classic Twisted Sister yet?
If not, definitely go check out the variations I posted previously… although the most important part of all is at the end of this video…

ā€œIt’s almost exactly the same as regular Twisted Sister, so if you’re not doing this tangled one, who cares!ā€

And that’s my teaching style. Nemesis Trick Progressions & Flexy Strong Pole Tricks: Give it a shot, but if you don’t nail it today, we try again another day 🄳 Happy poling, friends!
šŸŖ“ TRAINING HACKS šŸŖ“ Cherry Ribbon. Inverted Eagle. šŸŖ“ TRAINING HACKS šŸŖ“
Cherry Ribbon. Inverted Eagle. Iron X.

Because we all know we should be training both sides… but some tricks are at a level where you just cbf doing both sides ā˜ ļø

You know it’s true!

So I structured a combo that makes me pull on the left leg (Cherry Ribbon), and then pull on the right leg (Inverted Eagle), and then finish with a strength move (Iron X) - because you don’t want to walk away from deep back bends without reengaging the front side of your body, or you might collapse like a little noodle.

And of course my all-time flexy hack for pulling your leg over head: use a boot.

I’m holding onto the stiletto because these days, I just can’t reach my foot. But eventually, I’ll make it to the box, and then back to my foot. And the reason I use a boot rather than a sandal is because straps stretch & break too easily.

And I know platforms can separate from the boot as well, so my final tip is: make sure you keep the backside of your body actively engaged during your back bends!

What are your training hacks?

TRICK TUTORIALS What’s your opinion? I’ve been po TRICK TUTORIALS
What’s your opinion?

I’ve been posting a lot of talk thru tricks because for the last little while, teaching has been my focus. But these talk thrus are only ever narrating what you can already see me doing - like an audio description.

This is how I demo online & irl and these clips are from my actual classes.

But I don’t call them tutorials. Because I don’t include any information about what I’m doing on the inside - the things you can’t see. There’s no explanation about how I’m doing anything.

So I don’t call it a tutorial. Because without the how, that’s not a tutorial.

If you’d like a real legit Cherry Ribbon tutorial (and tons more) from me on Polesphere, drop a šŸ’ below and I’ll send you a šŸ”— but like, not automated. I’m gonna manually msg you like some sort of old fashioned person šŸ¤“
šŸ’Œ VALENTINE VARIATIONS šŸ’Œ In the early days, we did šŸ’Œ VALENTINE VARIATIONS šŸ’Œ
In the early days, we didn’t have official names for things, so I called Valentine - ā€œSide Archā€ - because it’s a deep as side bend šŸŒ™

It’s also the setup for a whole family of badass bendy tricks:
- Hang Glider
- Cherry Ribbon
- Buibui Bend

#pdhangglider reveals that there’s another trick more commonly referred to as such, and I must’ve picked up the name from Cleo’s Rock’n’Pole like some of the others using the hash… so if you’ve got another name for the final split in this vid, please do share!

Catch me for more in Flexy Strong Pole Tricks 😘
šŸ•°ļø TICK TOCK x TEDDY: now & then Back in the golde šŸ•°ļø TICK TOCK x TEDDY: now & then
Back in the golden olden days before Instagram, I made a YouTube series called Tricksy Tuesdays, where I’d post a different combo every Tuesday.

Each week, I’d bust out my laptop with Final Cut and chop in a VO of Gollum saying ā€œTricksyā€ - it was this whole production that I thought was entirely hilarious!

As time moved on and I eventually joined Instagram, I remember one of my dance teachers posting edited clips of every dance class she ever taught, and I thought: Wow! That must take up SO much of her time 🫠

Gosh how things have changed…

One of my Tricksy Tuesdays on YouTube is a Tick Tock combo I filmed with my friends in 2013 - it’s still on my channel if you want to go revel in the grainy goodness!

Now we do Tricksy Tuesdays in person at @honeyandchrome_cs šŸ˜
