Aerial Art Photography: My 1st Pole Shoot!

Yet another love letter to Arena Pole Studio… Just before I left the merry ol’ land of Oz, Fontaine organized a photo shoot for us with Jessie May, who specializes in aerial art photography. Jessie was an incredibly good sport – fun, friendly, and very patient with all 13 of us who showed up that day with suitcases of sparkly costumes, colorful heels, and lots of tricks to shoot.

I am also ever-so thankful to Cynthia Smyth for doing my hair and makeup, not only on the day of the shoot, but a couple of days prior as a trial too. Cynthia is about to start a six-month intensive hair and makeup course that includes Asian eye makeup, special effects wounds, and prosthetics – so I can’t wait to be her guinea pig again…
